In the current (or possibly just past; I can't keep tabs on how they do these things, particularly since I live in a part of the country where distribution is untimely at best) Transformers toyline, there's a new version of that classic G1 character Shockwave. It's a pretty good toy, albeit a bit on the "disappointingly small" side. I was just contemplating mine and realized there's an awesome thing Hasbro will probably never do.
Those who have paid attention to these things over the years will know that the makers of Transformers toys have a habit of producing already-released toys in new color schemes to wring a bit more revenue out of the very costly tooling needed to produce the toys. This means they could - and I hold that they should - make a version of this Shockwave toy that is primarily dark grey and clear instead of purple and translucent-magenta. They could call it, oh... "Galactic Radio Shockwave".
